Dr Robinson is actively involved in research through the Gold Coast University Hospital as well through Pindara Private and Griffith and Bond University. Dr Robinson has written multiple book chapters for text books on nasal surgery including:
- Septal and turbinate surgery
- Nasolacrimal surgery
Dr Robinson has published research on post operative medication in FESS analysing safety and efficacy. Dr Robinson is actively involved in a research project looking at mucocilary function and methods of improving mucocilary function in patients with rhinosinusitis.
